About Dominic Harding, Founder of Code-Flux
Self-taught web developer based in Oxfordshire, helping UK small businesses with modern websites and simple software.
Who I am
Hi, I’m Dominic. I run Code-Flux, a small web design and software studio in Oxfordshire focused on helping trades, service businesses and small teams show up better online.
I’m a self-taught developer with a background in customer-facing roles. That mix means I care just as much about clear communication and real-world results as I do about clean code and fast load times.
- Building and improving websites for local businesses across Oxfordshire and the wider UK.
- Designing simple tools like FluxQuote and Smart Reviews Manager to streamline day-to-day admin.
- Focusing on practical outcomes: more enquiries, clearer messaging, and smoother workflows.
How I work
Every project starts with a straightforward chat about your business, your customers and what “good” looks like for you. From there, I keep things simple and transparent:
- Listen first: understand your services, your ideal customers and how people currently find you.
- Launch quickly: get a first version live fast so you can start collecting enquiries and feedback.
- Keep it lean: modern, lightweight builds that are easy to maintain and fast on mobile.
- Optimise for search: on-page SEO, clean structure and Search Console setup as standard.
- Plain language: no jargon, no mystery retainers — just clear pricing and an honest scope.
If you want to talk through a potential project, you can view services and pricing or send a message via the contact form.
Who I help
Code-Flux is ideal for small businesses that need a reliable partner rather than a big agency. Typical clients include:
- Trades and home services in Oxfordshire — gardeners, builders, electricians, decorators and more.
- Professional services such as mortgage advisers, consultants and local specialists.
- Startups and sole traders launching their first website or upgrading from a DIY build.
Most of my work is with businesses across Oxford, Bicester, Banbury, Abingdon, Kidlington and Witney, but I also support clients elsewhere in the UK.
If that sounds like you, I’d be happy to take a look at your current setup and suggest a practical plan.
Why Code-Flux exists
Code-Flux started with a simple idea: many small businesses don’t need a huge, complex website — they need something clean, fast and easy to manage, with a few smart tools in the background to save time.
Whether it’s a three-page starter site or a custom tool to handle quotes, reviews or follow-ups, my goal is always the same: make the tech feel lighter so you can focus on running your business.
